Caroline's preschool class has a pet monkey named Timone. Every weekend one of the students get's a turn to take Timone home. The student and his/her parents fill out a page of Timone's journal sharing with the class of how Timone spent his weekend. They can also include pictures. Here are some snapshots of Timone and our weekend together.
Shopping for shoes at Target.
Reading books with Daddy.
Bedtime snuggles with Caroline.
We can't wait to see you again Timone!

i was a little scared before i saw the pictures that you would have an actual live monkey running around the house for the entire weekend...
Ditto to Big Rhonda ... I thought "man, schools have really advanced past hampsters since I was a tot."
This is soooo cute! I love your girls. Please feel free to drop them off for a day of fun at Camp Kelly in Cincinnati anytime! I have picked up a few "toys" for such occassions ... we have finger puppets, sidewalk chalk, bubbles and coloring supplies. Oh yeah, and two crazy cats and provide hours of fun ...
Jen, I now imagine you and Mike filling your Saturdays drawing on the sidewalk and putting on finger puppet shows for each other. That said, Philip and I expect massive entertainment when we finally make it up to Cincy.
Lisa, it looks like Caroline had a great time with Timone and has shown she knows how to care for her own pet. Let's take her monkey shopping.

This makes nursing school seem so lame, doesn't it Lisa?? We need a Timone journal experience at BCTC... especially if it means shoe shopping!
