Go Dodgers!

Spring is here, and Jonah had his first baseball game of the season. Unfortunately, I missed his game. We felt the weather was a bit chilly to take out one week old Caroline. David told me however that Jonah played fantastic. His team, the Dodgers, won 8-5. We're looking forward to an exciting season.

Here's Jonah scoring a run.
Jonah wanted to try playing catcher this year.

Okay! Okay! ...and here is another cute photo of Caroline after a bath.

Go Jonah! Catcher is a very important position. Who else is gonna stop those balls flying into home plate if the batter doesn't? Oops, sorry Mom. :)

I used to play catcher. It's basically one of the best positions ever because you actually get to touch the ball every at-bat. Waaaayyy better than right field. Score one for Jonah!

I would just like to note that the Schandings are now officially the most adorable family ever! I visited with them last week - Caroline is an abosolute doll and Jonah gets bigger and smarter everytime I see him! If you visit, ask to see his science fair project.

We were lucky enough to be in Lexington when a Dodger game was scheduled. We got to see Jonah play catcher, center field and get some hits. Keep up the good work, Jonah!
